Defil semi acousti jazz guitar year 1960 handmade in poland, adapted to a 'midisarm' originally had no pickups.
I adapted this guitar and renamed it as a tongue & cheek acronym, 'midisarm', Musical Instrument Digital Interface (midi pick-up), Semi Acoustic ( jazz body ), Rock ( high voltage sensor pick-up ), Mandouki ( Mandolin/Bouzouki ).
Although they where archtop they where made of triplex (3 layers of wood glued together) pressed into archtop form. the 1-rounded body has two f-holes with bindings, and a wooden bridge, 4 pots and a stoptail. the neck has bindings and dot markers.
Defil Careoca had bolt-on neck
